Senator Crewing Manila, a member of the Columbia Group, proudly opened its doors for the first-ever “Meet the Fleet: Bringing the Family to Team Senator” open house—an initiative designed to strengthen connections with the families who support our seafarers every day. Guests were welcomed with a morning introduction to Team Senator’s work and values, offering families the chance to meet the management team and gain a better understanding of the processes that support crew welfare and shipboard operations.
A key highlight of the program was the formal launch of the Team Senator Seafarer’s Wife and Family Club, created to promote community, shared learning, and mutual support among families. The election of the club’s inaugural officers marked the beginning of a meaningful new chapter in family engagement. The afternoon continued with informative sessions led by partner experts, covering practical topics such as health, nutrition, and digital communication. These discussions provided families with valuable insights they can apply in their daily lives, enriching the overall purpose of the event.
