On July 3, 2025, Capt. Gilbert G. Garcia, Director and General Manager of Senator Crewing Manila, visited VMA Global College and Training Centers, Inc. for a campus tour and student engagement.
Capt. Garcia was warmly welcomed and accompanied by Capt. Niño Elson O. Salabas, VMA President, along with 3/E Unjohn Decen Dumdumaya, Ms. Jellyme C. Sioco (Placement Officer), and Capt. Daniel Estrabon, Dean of the College of Maritime Studies.
As part of the visit, Capt. Garcia conducted initial interviews with ten selected maritime students from the BS in Marine Engineering and BS in Marine Transportation program held at the VMA Board Room.
This meaningful engagement reflects the continuing partnership between industry leaders and maritime institutions, aimed at preparing future seafarers for global opportunities.
