We heard you! Team Senator proudly took part in the PESO Job Fair at Robinsons Iloilo, Corner De Leon & Quezon Sts., Iloilo City, last May 17th, focusing on connecting with the vibrant and skilled seafaring community. Iloilo is known for having one of the highest populations of seafarers in the country, making it the perfect location for our recruitment drive. Ms. Kianah Amil from the recruitment team and Ms. Anya de Leon the marketing officer, hosted the booth during the job fair.
The event was a big success, with over 100 candidates registering online and 81 enthusiastic applicants showing up for interviews on the day of the fair. Senator’s focus on seafarers from Iloilo paid off, with many talented individuals showing a strong interest in joining Team Senator. We were impressed by the quality of the candidates, each bringing unique experiences and a passion for a career at sea. The job fair also gave us a great opportunity to engage with the local community, understand their needs, and build stronger relationships.
Being part of the PESO Iloilo job fair reinforced our commitment to supporting and uplifting Ilocano seafarers. Looking ahead, Team Senator is excited about building a diverse and skilled workforce to meet the challenges of the maritime industry.
