Saturday, July 20, 2024, the Don Bosco – One TVET Philippines, Inc. organized a one-day job fair at the Gaisano Mall of Cebu, catering to Filipinos, specially Cebuanos, in their dreams of bettering their life with a chance to work abroad.
Cruise Talent Acquisition Officer Kianah Amil and Social Media Officer Martina Suyer attended said event, representing Senator Crewing (Manila), Inc., and was invited by Bro. Silvestre B. Crescencio, SDB.
A welcome address by DBTC President Fr. Randolph A. Figuracion, SDB commenced the event, followed by a special message from Atty. Karl Frederick Arriola, Region 7 Director of the Department of Migrant Workers. The job hunting of the applicants started at exactly 8:30 a.m.
Team Senator has an approximately 150 applicants, on-site and online. The Don Bosco team designed their job fair to also accommodate those who were not able to attend the job fair in person – proving that they are keeping up with the emergence of the modern technology. With this effort, the job fair reached not only the Cebuanos, but Filipinos all over the Philippines.
Team Senator is privileged to have attended such event and is filled with pride and joy to have fulfilled its duty to provide chances to aspiring Filipino seafarers to achieve their dream of a better employment overseas.
