Following the recent grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of the Annex office of Senator Crewing (Manila), Inc., an open house for Aroya Cruises commenced on July 24, 2024, and ended on July 27, 2024 – a 4-day recruitment period for exceptional Filipino seafarers to join said cruise ship.
Pioneered by the cruise department, headed by Crewing Manager for Cruise Kathryn Aguirre, alongside the team Columbia ShipManagement – Crewing Fleet Manager Anca Preda, Crewing Superintendent Linda Karoli, Recruiter Alexander Houvenaghel, and Corporate Chef Yannick Peltier welcomed and accommodated the 407 invited applicants, who have passed the initial screening prior. The recruitment event mainly catered positions for hotel. For the galley and pastry positions, a trade test was conducted at Manila Tytana Colleges for qualified applicants to test their skills, spear-headed by Chef Yannick.
