We Senator seizes all available chances that will make our company grow. Our team is focused on building relationships face-to-face by participating in expositions, job fairs, college recruiting, and conferences to be able to make our seafarers feel more welcome and heard aside from our social media and the usual recruitment practices.
For the month of April, Capt. Garcia participated in Cebu Maritime Exposition at Corse Life malls Cebu City and visited Cebu Gems Innovation and Career Development Center, Inc. to talk about business matters. A bit of trivia: Senator Crewing (Manila), Inc. has traditionally favored Cebu Gems as a review facility for aspiring Filipino marine deck and engine officers. We look forward to working with Cebu Gems to be source of finding the ideal candidates who will fit the positions that we are offering in order to give our mariners the stepping stone to seek and achieve their life goals.
In addition, Capt. Garcia was also given the opportunity to have a tour in Mambaling Campus as part of this month’s program. He was very delighted for the warm welcome by the senior staffs of University of Cebu Maritime Education and Training Center (UC-METC). Capt. Garcia was very proud to see how their school has been developed throughout the years and also looking forward for collaborations in the near future.On April 20th Capt. Garcia and Ms. Anya attended the ALMA Maritime Group Corporation event held in Citadines, Pasay. Headed by our esteemed Chairperson Atty. Iris Baguilat and President Cristina Garcia. It was an unforgettable night, because we were able to mingle and learn from other industry leaders, previous acquaintances and new friends that were present during the event.
