Team Senator took some time off to join the 14th Filipino Association for Marine’s Employment Inc. (FAME) fun run race last July 29. With the theme of ‘Go Marino! Healthy Body, Healthy Mind’.
After three long years of not being able to hold activities due to the pandemic, Team Senator finally had the opportunity to participate in the FAME fun run. The event was held in SM By the Bay, SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. Rain or shine, hundreds of attendees from maritime industry participated with a cause of raising donations for charitable organizations. This experience provides an opportunity for employees to come together outside the typical work environment and engaged in a shared activity.
Yearly, Team Senator participates in outdoor activities to highlight the significance of leading healthy lifestyle, raising holistic awareness, and, most importantly, spending quality time with the team and family members. Senator Crewing Manila promotes healthy work-life balance. Going outside the typical work environment and engaging on outdoor activities can help each and every one to manage the stress and reduce burnout.
Despite the bad weather, Team Senator was up for the challenge. Everyone ran the 3K race, while Mr. Kim, Mr. Daryl, and Ms. Mica ran the 10K race. After putting in the miles, everyone deserves a small indulgence. The team prepared some food and drinks in the booth to restore the energy consumed during the race.
This Fun Run was no ordinary race – it fostered enduring memories and a sense of camaraderie that everyone will treasure.
