Senator recognizes that the maritime industry is ever-evolving. Committed to ensure that we remain forefront of industry updates and developments, we participated in a three-day international maritime conference and exhibition organized by The Maritime League in partnership with the Department of Transportation at the SMX Convention Center Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
The event celebrated Maritime Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month, also known as MANA MO, which was established by Presidential Proclamation 316 in 2017. This year’s theme, “Philippine Blue Economy: Insights and Foresights,” underscores the expo’s objective of advancing the interests of the country’s maritime sector. This is accomplished through the exchange of information, showcasing marine technology exhibitions, and fostering active engagement among various stakeholders, including government officials and representatives from the maritime industries.
Notable speakers and guest of honors were present including Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, and Maritime League Chairman President Eduardo Santos, delivered speech about the updates on the on-going projects enhancing the Philippine Maritime Industry.
