On November 29, 2023, from 12 PM to 5 PM, a simple get-together happened at Paeng’s Midtown Bowl in Robinson’s Place Manila. Ms. Gianelli Manchete, our Welfare and Crew Officer, organized the event. The aim was to bring together the wives of NSB crew members while their husbands attended the Senior Officer’s conference at Sheraton Manila Bay.
The choice of Paeng’s Midtown Bowl proved to be a perfect setting, offering a sporty and enjoyable atmosphere complemented by a shared feast of delicious pizza. This casual get-together was not only an opportunity for the NSB wives to bond but also a strategic move to strengthen the ties with Team Senator crew’s families.
The event unfolded with laughter and camaraderie as the wives engaged in friendly competition on the bowling lanes. After each turn, stories were shared, get to know more, and creating a warm ambiance that each and everyone needs.
To guarantee an enjoyable experience, Team Senator has decided to enhance the excitement by rewarding the top three scorers in bowling with Starbucks gift cheques, and choosing this as prize aims to create a pleasant bond among participants, as coffee often serves as a great way to connect with family and friends.
After the activity, as a sign of appreciation, simple tokens from Senator were distributed, leaving the NSB wives expressing gratitude for the thoughtful arrangements. The success of this first-time event was also attributed to the efforts of Ms. Trisha Ofalsa Crew Operator and Mr. Vincent Castillo from IT Department, who accompanied and diligently documented the entire event.
To wrap it up, the SCM with NSB Wives Get Together proved to be a well-spent day, fostering connections, and contributing to a sense of community among our extended Senator family.
