After years of hosting brief “day tours” team building, Team Senator finally embraced the chance to cultivate deeper connections through an extended and immersive experience. The two-day event was held at Shercon resort and ecological park, Batangas.
On the first day, Team Senator were divided into four teams: Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green. Each team was led by a staff member, not a manager, to showcase their leadership skills. The organizers created a thrilling and fun activities that is divided into four parts – Team effort, Collective effort, Building Self Confidence and Tower of Success. These activities went beyond mere play which resulted to enhanced collaboration, stronger relationships, and most importantly a sense of camaraderie.
The Tower of Success was the highlight of the team building. Two of the new employees, Mr. Borbor and Mr. Violan, were selected to lead a team of sixty-five. The task was to build a seven-levels tower, with each levels signifying an accomplishment that showcased Team Senator’s teamwork. Throughout each step, we had doubts about whether we can reach all seven levels. However, we transformed those doubts into confidence and overcame our fears. In the end, we successfully achieved the Tower of Success.
The last day provided free time to relax and enjoy each other’s company, allowing each and everyone to connect on a personal level outside the workplace. It was a memorable experience which has brought the team closer than ever.
